Le World Electronic Media Forum (WEMF) a été un événement du World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), qui a eu lieu du 10.-12.12.2003 à Genève (SUI), en partenariat avec l'United Nations Department of Public Information (UNDPI), l'European Broadcasting Union (EBU) et de la Suisse, pays hôte du sommet.
Cinq grandes sessions intéressantes sur deux jours ont exploré les possibilités actuelles et futures de médias dans la société de l'information, avec une référence particulière au rôle clé des médias et de la télévision, l'accès universel à l'information, la liberté d'expression, la diversité culturelle, le développement économique, la cohésion sociale et l'éducation.
Ralph Ammann a coordonnées et contrôlées les cinq grandes sessions entre la société TV-production concernés et le secrétariat exécutif de la WEMF.
